Senior Construction Manager
Location: Alpine, Texas (San Antonio Area)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Pending Contract Award, Estimated 3+ Years)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager (CM) to join our team supporting a high-profile data center expansion in the San Antonio, TX area. You'll play a key role in delivering complex, mission-critical infrastructure projects while working alongside leading global tech teams. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic construction environments, values coordination and oversight, and has deep experience with commercial or institutional-scale work.
This position is contingent on contract award, and we are actively connecting with highly qualified candidates who are interested and flexible regarding start timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the owner's interests on-site across large-scale data center builds.
- Observe and report on construction progress, contractor performance, and field conditions.
- Review and track construction schedules, milestones, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with design consultants, general contractors, inspection and cost management teams.
- Provide weekly reporting on project schedule, cost, quality, and risk items.
- Assist in resolving disputes and change requests, ensuring transparency and compliance.
- Coordinate close-out activities and ensure timely project documentation delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience on large-scale mission-critical, institutional, or public sector construction projects.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to federal client and security access requirements.
- 10+ years of post-graduate construction management experience (15+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree) .
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred.
- Comfortable with jobsite mobility (ladder, scaffolding use) and strict safety compliance.
- Proficient in construction management platforms (Procore, Work Docs), and committed to using approved communication tools.
- Ability to travel occasionally to nearby project sites as needed.
