Job Title: Senior Construction Manager - Data Center Projects

Location: Opportunties in both North Virginia and DFW TX

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the development and construction of large-scale data center projects in North Virginia and Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex, fast-paced data center construction projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and timely results. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction, ensuring adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the construction process for large-scale data center projects across both North Virginia and Dallas locations.

  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Work closely with project teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders, to ensure project requirements are met.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Monitor and manage project risks, proactively addressing issues and resolving problems as they arise.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, assess quality, and ensure safety compliance.

  • Maintain strong communication with all project stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.

  • Develop and enforce construction schedules, ensuring that milestones are achieved according to project timelines.

  • Ensure that all projects comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.

  • Support contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and adherence to contractual obligations.

  • Implement best practices in construction management to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall project outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on large-scale data center projects or mission-critical facilities.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in both North Virginia and Dallas locations.

  • Strong knowledge of data center construction processes, MEP systems, and associated technologies.

  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards related to data centers.

  • Exceptional project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage large teams and complex projects.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide diverse teams to success.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders.

  • Experience working with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders in a collaborative environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel between North Virginia and Dallas as required.
