Position Overview



At Zelig we are developing a proprietary virtual tryon technology which is aimed at revolutionizing online shopping by bringing the in-store experience of trying on clothes to the online market place. We are looking for a Sr. Computer Vision Engineer who can assist in the development of this technology particularly in the tryon image generation process. Candidates will tackle advanced image manipulation tasks centered on improving the realism of tryon outputs. Applicants must have 5-7 years of industrial experience, minimum 3 years experience in python and be very familiar with computer vision work and image processing techniques, including machine learning algorithms, DNN (Deep Neuro Network) and Generative AI in image spaces. The hired person must be a fast paced problem solver, someone who is able to ideate and iterate quickly to demonstrate whether an idea is feasible and worth pursuing.



Responsibilities



  • Design and develop advanced computer vision algorithms for manipulation of garments in tryon pipeline
  • Exploratory research into computer vision algorithms and method which could be applied to solutions developed by the team
  • Implement and optimize algorithms for fast processing and performance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision systems into broader product architectures.
  • Test and refine models and systems based on real-world data and feedback.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Proven ability to develop computer vision applications using Python (minimum 3 years experience), proficient in using OpenCV for image related algorithm development, familiar with relevant ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a broad computer vision area. Solid understanding of image processing techniques, computer vision algorithms, machine learning and deep neural networks including Generative AI in image space.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in optimizing/accelerating python code. Knowledge of high performance (fast speed, cpu/memory efficient) computer vision and image analytics solutions, able to optimize algorithms to be memory/cpu efficient
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Good practice in writing unit test, using GIT version control, performing regression test


Preferred Qualifications



  • Knowledge of web development, familiar with Google Cloud Platform
  • Some experience in computer graphics is highly preferred, for example, 3d data simulation and image visualization techniques
