Your Contribution: As a Senior Cloud Solutions Consultant, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, aligning client needs with our cloud solutions portfolio. Working closely with Account Executives, you will uncover opportunities, devise effective solutions, and drive revenue growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Account Executives throughout the sales process to support opportunity qualification, technical discovery, and solution crafting.
- Partnering on sales strategies to attract new clients and expand existing partnerships.
- Conducting discovery sessions to assess technical requirements and deliver customized solutions.
- Creating and presenting compelling solution proposals, demonstrations, and presentations.
- Guiding customers through cloud options across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and our private cloud ecosystem.
- Building a robust sales pipeline while maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
- Staying abreast of cloud technologies and industry trends to provide proactive insights to the sales team and clients.
- Leveraging connections with AWS, Microsoft, and Google partner ecosystems to enhance outreach and accelerate deal closures.
Who You Are: You are a cloud-savvy, people-oriented salesperson with deep technical curiosity and a zeal for enabling businesses to succeed through technology. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at cross-functional collaboration, and can articulate complex ideas in an accessible manner.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience (or a Master's degree and 6+ years, or 12+ years total professional experience).
- At least 6 years of experience selling IT/cloud solutions in a consultative B2B environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with sales teams to close complex deals and cultivate long-term relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms with at least one certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Digital Leader).
- Experience in full-lifecycle sales with a proven record of exceeding quotas.
Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP partner programs.
- Hands-on knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, containerization, infrastructure as code, and hybrid cloud strategies.
- Industry-specific knowledge in Healthcare, Financial Services, or SaaS.
- Advanced cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect - Associate) are a plus.
Compensation: The compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $126,000.00 - $210,000.00, with an annual commission target of $90,000.00. Factors influencing the salary rate include the ultimate job location and the candidate's experience.
Benefits: RapidScale offers eligible employees the freedom to take as much paid vacation time as necessary based on their responsibilities and the company's requirements.
