Senior Software/Cloud Engineer (Cybersecurity Engineering)
The role of the Senior Software/Cloud Engineer is to implement and support internally developed system(s), API(s), vendor supported encryption and key management software, and related services to protect critical Enterprise Data. This role offers exposure to industry leading Cryptographic processes & practices, hands-on exposure to Hardware Security Modules, and API driven Key Management as a Service (KMaaS v2) solution in addition to leading systems monitoring tools & technologies.
The Team
Fidelity Enterprise Technology's Software Engineering Domain supports the Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) Key Management & Encryption (KME) team that is tasked with the lifecycle management of encryption keys. This Senior Cloud Engineer role supports Key Management & Encryption (KME) as part of the ECS Data Security & Detection Tribe that is responsible for implementing & managing best-in-class Cybersecurity engineering solutions to protect Fidelity Systems & Data. This role offers tremendous opportunity for exposure to industry leading Cryptographic processes & practices, exposure to Hardware Security Modules, API driven Key Management as a Service (KMaaS v2) solution, and other leading systems monitoring tools & technologies for Data Protection.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology discipline
8-10 years of experience in a distributed IT Engineering and/or support function
8-10 years of experience with implementing and supporting APIs, Key Management & Encryption products, and solutions.
6+ years of experience with cloud computing (setup, migration, management etc.,)
6+ years of experience with systems and application engineering involving OS hardening, setting up and managing logging and monitoring capabilities for enterprise systems.
The Skills You Bring
Strong working knowledge of OS (Linux and Windows) from security point of view (configuration, hardening etc.).
Knowledge of deploying and managing APIs, and automation/scripting (JAVA, Python/Bash, PowerShell etc.).
Experience with on-prem and/or cloud based key management solutions like AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault etc. is highly desired
Very good verbal and written communication skills.
Good system analysis and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of Agile methodology and ability to work in a fast-paced Enterprise environment is desired.

You will be responsible for Engineering activities that involve Key Management & Encryption environment by working with Business Unit application teams and internal customers.
You will use well established Enterprise standards, processes, and procedures to ensure Engineering activities are delivered in a timely fashion with high quality of work product.
Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
