What You'll Do: Define and implement approaches to optimize cloud performance, reliability, and resiliency across diverse infrastructures Analyze cloud systems and provide engineering recommendations for achieving six sigma reliability Monitor cloud resource utilization and champion continuous process improvement Apply a systematic, engineering-driven approach to the design, requirements gathering, development, and operation of cloud technologies Leverage software-, platform-, and infrastructure-as-a-service models to deliver mission-critical solutions Guide and mentor Mid- and Junior-level Cloud Engineers to ensure best practices and high-quality outcomes What You Bring: Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph Minimum of 10 years relevant Cloud Engineering experience Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field Equivalent additional experience may substitute for formal education Senior-level experience leading or supporting cloud-based systems engineering initiatives in government or industry environments One or more professional Cloud Certifications, such as: AWS Certified Cisco Certified Networking Administrator - Cloud Cisco Certified Network Professional - Cloud IBM Certified Cloud Solution Architect MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure VMware Certified Professional (VCP7-CMA) Bonus Points for: Master's degree in a STEM field Certification or expertise in Citrix XenApp Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, VBScript, AutoIT, or similar tools Background working with SAN storage infrastructures (especially EMC) Familiarity with Microsoft clustering technologies Experience with Microsoft SQL installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Prior experience supporting NGA, NSG/ASG programs or projects Previous involvement with Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) programs
