Job Duties
• Collaborate, Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily in Microsoft Azure with some AWS components
• Manage cloud Infrastructure deployments using infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Establish and enforce cloud governance policies and best practices
• Manage and optimize cloud spending through FinOps principles
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Partner with software engineers, data services teams, and security specialists
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues
• Drive continuous improvement in cloud operations and architectures
• Translate technical cloud strategies into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions
• Lead cloud migration projects from on-premises to Azure
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for cloud resources
• Create and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure
• Participate in on-call rotation for cloud infrastructure support
• Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities
• Deploy, manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters
• Deploy, manage and maintain Azure Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
• Develop and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) models to ensure secure access management across cloud resources
• Develop and enforce Azure Policies regarding enforcing resource restrictions and tagging
• Deploy and configure Application Registrations and Managed Identities in EntraID
• Manage and maintain Azure Front Door configurations Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Azure
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure services: Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Kubernetes Service, EntraID, Azure Storage, Azure Monitor, Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, Load Balancers
• Working knowledge of AWS services and deployment patterns, EC2, EBS, Cloud Formation Templates
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, Bicep, Cloud Formation Templates)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, AZ CLI)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud resources
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or cloud-native alternatives for efficient monitoring and observability of cloud resources
• Deploy, manage and support on-premises Windows Server environments, including IIS-based, load-balanced web hosting for .NET applications
• Familiarity with strategies for migrating on-prem .NET applications to cloud-native Azure solutions
• Experience partnering with software developers to deploy applications to on-premises environments, ensuring seamless functionality and performance
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and supporting .NET applications during deployment processes Desirable Qualifications

Work Schedule
The normal workweek for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Alternative work schedules may be considered. This position is FLSA Exempt and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position will participate in rotational After Hours Support as needed.
