Title: Senior Cloud Engineer
Location: Remote, USA

Description:
The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for managing cloud infrastructure operations and supporting the technology team in launching and maintaining enterprise-level products. This role focuses on ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure, enabling efficient product deployment and operational success.

Responsibilities:
Cloud Operations:

Oversee and develop containerized SaaS infrastructure across multiple environments.
Automate routine processes through scripting and infrastructure management tools.
Collaborate with the technology team to streamline deployments using CI/CD practices.
Manage data storage performance and availability.
Configure and maintain high-availability database clusters.
Implement monitoring tools for critical infrastructure.
Ensure capacity requirements are met as products scale.
Maintain platform reliability with an uptime target of 99.99%.
Implement security measures in alignment with compliance standards.
Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
Document infrastructure and operational processes thoroughly.

Internal IT Support:
Manage infrastructure for internal systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Required Skills:
Strong expertise in cloud system administration (Linux-based environments preferred).
Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform).
Experience in CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
High-availability database administration (Postgres/MySQL preferred).
Familiarity with infrastructure for large-scale web applications.
Solid programming experience in Python, Ruby, or Java.

Desired Skills:
Professional certification in cloud architecture or DevOps (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure security measures and compliance frameworks.

Employment Type:
Perm/Full-Time

Compensation:
Salary: $126k-180k per year
