Job Title - Senior Cloud Engineer
Location - Hybrid in Malvern, PA (Office 2 days per week, Remote 3 days per week)
Role Type - Contract with potential for Full-Time Employment (FTE)
Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Entra ID, and PIM
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPNs, VWANs, netting, subnetting, Azure Landing Zones, and firewalls) and experience with VPN configuration
- Foundational understanding of how to work with PowerShell scripts (automation experience is a plus)
- Confident in the ability to interface with clients, communicate with non-technical stakeholders, and uphold a respect and kindness-forward culture at the organization.
Responsibilities and Job Details:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions in Azure
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Data & Risk Officer and key technology teams to enhance cloud architecture
- Build and maintain VWANs and associated cloud services
- Deploy applications and manage data storage solutions ensuring security best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the cloud platform
- Participate in the creation and improvement of security and resource groups for cloud environments
- Support automation initiatives using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) as needed
- Ensure robust networking design including VPNs, subnetting, and firewall management
- Assist in scaling and optimizing cloud services to support organizational growth
- Potentially take on management responsibilities for future engineering team members
- Collaborate effectively across teams to support application performance and reliability
