Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Developer to join our client's dynamic and growing team. This role will support the FBI's mission by developing and implementing cloud-based solutions to enhance our data processing and analytics capabilities. The position is based in Huntsville, AL.
s a Senior Cloud Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based systems. Your expertise in AWS, Data Engineering, Java, Python, and Databricks will be essential in helping the FBI leverage advanced technologies for national security operations.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain cloud-based architectures using AWS services.
Design and optimize data pipelines and storage solutions for large-scale data processing.
Build and deploy scalable applications leveraging Java and Python on the cloud infrastructure.
Utilize Databricks for data engineering tasks, such as ETL processes and data transformation.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to deliver high-performance solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and data processing systems.
Ensure cloud applications and infrastructure are secure, efficient, and meet compliance requirements.
Contribute to architecture and design decisions for cloud-based solutions and services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
t least 8 years of experience in cloud development, with a strong focus on AWS.
Extensive experience with data engineering, including building data pipelines and working with large datasets.
Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
Experience with Databricks and data analytics platforms.
Strong understanding of cloud computing, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
