RiversEdge Advisors is a financial planning firm in Wilmington, DE, seeking a Senior Client Service Associate to support our continued growth and provide an elevated level of service to our clients. This role is ideal for an experienced client service professional who can take initiative, manage complex client situations, and support advisors in delivering exceptional financial planning.

Responsibilities Include:

Client Relationship Management & Service Execution
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Provide advanced client relationship support by gathering, analyzing, and managing client data, preparing financial plans, and overseeing the execution of financial strategies.
  • Proactively anticipate client needs, addressing service requests and problem-solving across a wide variety of account types.
  • Lead and document client meetings, ensuring timely follow-up and execution of action items.
  • Oversee all administrative aspects of client implementation and retention, ensuring efficient and accurate paperwork processing.
  • Manage the implementation of client insurance and investment accounts, coordinating with custodians and third-party providers.
  • Conduct in-depth research on financial products and policies to ensure compliance and best-fit recommendations.
Leadership & Process Improvement
  • Act as a mentor to junior Client Service Associates, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and recommend improvements to workflows and client service processes.
  • Maintain a high level of industry knowledge and proactively communicate updates or regulatory changes to the team.
  • Serve as a liaison between advisors, clients, and third-party providers to facilitate complex client requests and transactions.
Financial Planning & Compliance Support
  • Work closely with Advisors to prepare and analyze client financial plans using financial planning software (eMoney).
  • Assist in evaluating financial data to develop personalized solutions for clients.
  • Ensure all client files meet compliance and company standards, staying updated on regulatory changes.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of special projects and firm initiatives, ensuring completion in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain an "all hands on deck" mentality to support the firm's growth and success.
  • Represent the firm professionally in client interactions and external events.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a client service role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, financial planning principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-first approach.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with advisors and team members.
  • Experience with financial planning and CRM software is a plus, including RedTail, eMoney, Riskalyze, Schwab, Orion, and Salesforce.
  • A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
