Responsibilities
- Oversee the design development of water network projects from concept to contract award.
- Identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks to enable scope definition and robust pricing.
- Assure contractors and manage design changes during construction.
- Support project teams during commissioning and asset handover.
- Conduct design reviews ensuring safety and operational requirements are met.
- Act as the key contact for CDM Designer or Principal Designer roles during initial design stages.
Location & Working Pattern
Hybrid working at Maple Lodge. You must be on site 2-3 days a week, working 36 hours, Monday to Friday. A driving license and car are preferred, but applications are welcome without.
Candidate Requirements
- Engineering HNC, degree, or master's in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Chartered engineer or nearing chartership with a relevant professional body.
- Understanding of project delivery principles in process industries.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in construction.
- Understanding of industrial process decisions in engineering.
