On behalf of our client, an established construction group with a strong presence across Europe and new expansion plans in the UK,we are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join a flagship high-quality residential development project in London.

Senior Civil Engineer - Residential Projects (London-Based) - Ref: (5918/SCE/ESS/UK)

Location: London, United Kingdom

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all civil engineering works on-site, including groundwork, infrastructure, and structural systems
  • Coordinate effectively with architects, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure accurate project execution
  • Ensure full compliance with UK construction codes, health & safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Track project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets, proactively addressing deviations
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and construction professionals
  • Conduct regular site inspections, prepare progress reports, and participate in project meetings

Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or on the pathway toward chartership
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably with residential project exposure in the UK
  • Excellent knowledge of UK construction codes, practices, and health & safety standards
  • Strong communication, coordination, and leadership capabilities
  • EU or UK work authorization is essential
