About the role:
As the Senior Capital Project Manager II, you will provide strategic leadership for high-priority, complex projects that align with the facility's strategy to ensure the supply of products to patients while delivering value to our shareholders through the introduction of new products and the support of ongoing operations. We are looking for someone to lead team members and secure commitments within a matrixed environment. You will assume the roles of Project Manager, Engineering Lead, or both on any given project - overseeing all phases from front-end planning and design through execution and project closeout. You will report to the Senior Manager Capital Projects.
How you will contribute:
- Accountable for overall project performance through all phases of project lifecycle. Areas include developing and controlling scope, budget, schedule, quality, risk, procurement, resources, EHS assessments, project documentation
- Manage projects according to site and company general and Capital Engineering project management governance practices
- Communicate project status and escalations
- Partner with project sponsor, senior management, and other stakeholders
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of related experience managing Capital Engineering projects in pharmaceutical/biotechnology regulated manufacturing environment on systems such as bioreactors, centrifugation, chromatography, filtration, Clean-in-Place, clean utilities, and automation systems
- Demonstrated experience applying project management methodologies in planning and managing multiple, large, complex Capital Engineering projects
- Demonstrated experience leading construction projects to completion
- Strong understanding of automation systems and technologies preferred
- Direct experience with A&E design service providers preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$111,800.00 - $175,670.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives.
