Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst

Flex Work Eligible. This position qualifies for the Flexible Work Policy. Employees receive 75 workdays annually to work remotely. The initial amount of days is prorated for the first year based on the start date.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

The role of the Senior Business Systems Analyst is to act as a functional Finance analyst and technical resource to provide ERP software solutions that meet the technical requirements of Loram's internal customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Functional and Technical Skills
  • Works with a functional representative to plan, design, develop, test, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements.
  • Generate and compile reports based on findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, programming, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
  • Develop business process maps with functional representatives.
  • Record very detailed notes on processes and tasks to support testing and training documentation.
Customer Interaction/Management/Support
  • Assists Business users to define and documenting business requirements for changes. Document technical requirements for system changes.
  • Participate in ERP upgrades and implementations by coordinating testing and training with business users; configuring the system as required and performing regression testing.
  • Utilize basic PL/SQL skills to perform data analysis for simple to medium in complexity to support issues.
  • Provide basic level system configuration tasks. This shall include defining basic PL/SQL functions.
  • Provide As-hoc reporting and analysis, as needed, and requested.
  • Assists business users to define and documenting business requirements for changes. Document technical requirements for system changes.
  • Daily operational system support and issue management of the ERP(IFS) and integrated systems (IFS, Vertex, OnBase) working with team members, business users, and application vendor(s) as needed.
  • Communicate effectively weekly project status updates for IT management on current progress, obstacles, and risks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) / Business Administration / Computer Science (CSci) Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience:
  • 5+ years' experience in ERP
  • 5+ years of business systems analyst or related experience
  • 3+ years' experience using PL/SQL or SQL
  • 3+ years' experience maintaining and configuring applications systems
  • 5+ years' experience in RDBMS
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
In lieu of education 9+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience as a team member in enterprise resource planning system (ERP) and HRIS, with implementation and maintenance required.

Loram determines compensation based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. Certain positions may be eligible for an annual bonus and paid time off in addition to base compensation.

Starting pay for the position is between $93,220.43 - $116,525.53.
