Senior Business Process Consultant Job Category: Consulting Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Senior Business Process Consultant to support the Maritime Industrial Base Program. In this role, you will serve as a Technical Writer while developing and implementing business process solutions for both internal and external customers. You will be responsible for analyzing business and technical workflows, coordinating across multidisciplinary teams, and producing high-quality technical documentation. Your expertise in process improvement, technical writing, and engineering concepts will support mission-critical initiatives and drive operational efficiency across the defense industrial base. Responsibilities: Analyze business and technical workflows, define client needs, and apply industry best practices to develop and implement effective process solutions.
Coordinate with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, support system planning, and facilitate user acceptance testing.
Coach and facilitate process improvement initiatives across program areas.
Establish and track performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Produce and edit technical documentation-including manuals, procedures, plans, and proposals-for use across print, digital, and electronic platforms.
Conduct research and interview subject matter experts to ensure documentation is technically accurate, clear, and concise.
Apply engineering-related knowledge and techniques to communicate complex technical material in a user-friendly format. Qualifications: Required: Active SECRET clearance.
Over 10 years of relevant experience with a MA/MS degree (additional years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement).
Demonstrated experience in business process improvement, technical writing, and stakeholder engagement.
Skilled in translating technical data into polished, accessible documentation for diverse audiences.
Practical understanding of engineering concepts and terminology.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related documentation tools. Desired: Experience supporting Department of Defense or maritime-related programs.
Familiarity with technical writing standards and government documentation practices.
Experience writing, reviewing, or performing QA/QC on Statements of Work (SOWs) and government contract packages.
