Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced business development professional to help us grow the Xbox Official Gear Shop into a best in class e-commerce platform.
XOGS is the official e-commerce store for the branded merchanded from Xbox and our affiliated brands. The store is run in partnership with Microsoft Stores and Xbox.
Responsibilities:1. Develop a detailed Business Plan and Growth Model for the Xbox Official Gear Shop.
- Target both short term and long term strategy identifying key growth opportunities, challenges, and baseline KPIs.
- Research and identify best-in-class service providers, outlining their strengths and how that can be replicated with this platform.
2. Develop and execute a plan for operations optimization
- Identify and implement work process between the various teams that develop XOGS.
- Maintain, track, and recommend improvements to the shop.
3. Manage key metrics reporting to monitor the health of XOGS
- Track in-depth sales data across multiple lines and identify and attribute KPIs and benchmarks
- Work with various stakeholders and studios identify their KPIs and goals, and develop and share regular reports.
4. Lead business development objectives for the XOGS team
- Identify and grow key business relationships within MSFT (MS Stores, Xbox Marketing, Studios)
Qualifications & Skills: 7 plus years experience in:
Retail IQ, business process development and management
Ecommerce infrastructure, applications, and UI
Extensive written and verbal communication skills.
Intimate knowledge of full MSFT Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
Pluses:
8-10 years' experience in Licensed Merchandise and/or gaming business development.
Hand on experience with e-commerce fan shops.
