Ambition are excited to be partnering with a leading international law firm, to help them hire an experienced disputes business development professional. The role will operate in a true global leadership role, working closely with the Global Director and managing a team based in the New York office. We have the ability to position the role in New York or DC.
Given the dynamics of the role, we are keen to reach out to current senior managers and experienced managers who are passionate about the disputes area. You will be managing a group of 30-40 partners based in the US, this role will operate in a truly advisory capacity, making this an exciting opportunity in the market.
As mentioned above you will also have support of a team based in New York, so someone who enjoys mentoring and developing marketing professionals will be important for individuals to enjoy doing and demonstrate experience of.
Core duties include:
- Create and implement strategic marketing and business development plans for the US Dispute resolution team, working closely with the Director and key partners based in the New York office. You will also work with senior colleagues based in Europe to play a part in global campaigns and projects.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills, to engage and develop 3 junior team members in the New York office, ensuring you take the lead role in continuing to aid their professional development.
- Lead the team to create and engaging marketing content and thought leadership commentary to continue to develop and raise the firms brand and reputation in core markets.
- Take a commercial mindset to the firms client base, playing a key role in the relationship management piece plus utilizing research tools in order to advise the partnership on key market trends and analysis.
