Senior Business Development Manager


Top 100 US General Contractor is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, researching market trends, and developing high-quality proposals and presentations. Additionally, you may contribute to strategic planning, advertising, and public relations efforts. This position may also oversee marketing support personnel.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Must have a business development background within construction preferably a General Contractor
  • Industrial background is preffered
  • Strong Seattle, WA network.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities that contribute to successful projects.
  • Track progress against sales goals and performance targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong networks with clients, designers, commercial real estate professionals, civic groups, and industry leaders to generate business leads.
  • Lead sales efforts to achieve revenue and profit goals, serving as the primary representative of the company in the market when needed.
  • Ensure high-quality responses to RFQs and RFPs.
  • Oversee the creation of professional, high-impact presentation materials and exhibits.
  • Utilize CRM tools and databases to manage leads, project information, and sales efforts effectively.
  • Mentor and support marketing and sales personnel.
  • Develop and execute key account management strategies.
  • Analyze client feedback to identify business trends and opportunities.
  • Maintain and manage the sales database as required.
  • Assist in creating marketing plans, including organizational structure, market research, public relations, advertising strategies, and business development goals.
  • Research and assess economic and market trends, integrating insights into strategic business planning.
  • Identify high-potential market segments for long-term growth.
