Sr. Business Development Manager (Hiring in Southern CA, NV, AZ or TX only)

As a Sr. Business Development Manager at MAP Consulting, you're not just selling services-you're transforming leadership. You'll serve as a strategic partner to CEOs, Founders, Presidents, and Heads of HR who are seeking to scale their businesses with clarity, discipline, and velocity. Your mission? To guide organizations to breakthrough performance using MAP's proven methodologies. This is your chance to step into a role where your leadership, business acumen, and emotional intelligence will directly influence executive growth, organizational alignment, and business acceleration.


In the first 90 days, you will conquer the following:


30-Day Goal: Develop a foundational understanding of MAP's consulting methodologies and service offerings


Outcome: Establish credibility and confidence with prospects and internal teams

  • Complete Trainual onboarding sessions and shadow Executive Consultants in sales and delivery
  • Build a pipeline of at least 25 ICP prospects using company-provided and self-sourced opportunities
  • Deliver 15 minute presentation to leadership on what you have learned and what your plan is for a successful MAP career

60-Day Goal: Begin closing initial accounts and managing early-stage relationships


Outcome: Demonstrate traction with key metrics and begin contributing revenue

  • Conduct first 2-4 New Interviews with at least one being self generated
  • Close first 1-2 sales of MAP's core programs
  • Generate at least 1 referral through early client wins

90-Day Goal: Optimize and scale your personal client acquisition engine


Outcome: Drive repeatable, measurable impact across accounts

  • Build a self-sustaining pipeline from referrals, outbound, and network-based leads
  • Conduct 5 new interviews in month 3
  • Close 3 New A Clients - MAP Accelerated or 2.5 Day
  • Provide feedback and insight into improving go-to-market strategy

Soft Skills:

You thrive in high-stakes conversations with executive-level decision makers. Your emotional intelligence enables you to listen actively, speak truthfully, and ask the kinds of questions that surface real business challenges. You're a relationship builder with an internal drive to win-but not at the expense of integrity or authenticity. You collaborate cross-functionally, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and handle objections with empathy and professionalism.


Technical Skills:

You're fluent in the modern sales stack-Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io-and you know how to use data to guide decisions. You've sold into the C-suite and are experienced in consultative, solution-oriented selling. You manage your time with discipline, run a clean CRM, and stay focused on leading indicators like pipeline velocity and close rate. You understand B2B service sales and can align MAP's offerings with the strategic priorities of senior leaders.
