Job Title: Senior Business Development Coordinator

About the Role:
We're working with a well-established, high-growth law firm that is seeking a strategic and highly organized Senior Business Development Coordinator to join their Marketing & Business Development team. In this role, you'll collaborate with partners and practice groups-especially within the Litigation Department-to drive client engagement, elevate market presence, and support strategic growth initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a strong foundation in the legal industry.
What You'll Do:
- Develop strategic pitches and proposals: Craft persuasive pitch materials and responses to RFPs that highlight our capabilities and win new business.
- Support practice group growth: Partner with attorneys and group leaders to implement business plans, monitor budgets, coordinate meetings, and track initiatives.
- Maintain marketing collateral: Keep bios, brochures, presentations, and experience lists updated and aligned with brand messaging.
- Coordinate award and ranking submissions: Manage submissions for Chambers, Legal 500, and other directories-track progress and share results.
- Drive research initiatives: Work with our research analyst to deliver intelligence on prospects, industries, markets, and competitors.
- Lead event and sponsorship logistics: Identify opportunities, manage execution, and ensure our presence is impactful at conferences and events.
- Collaborate across departments: Partner with internal teams (Finance, Conflicts, DEI, Legal, etc.) to gather data for proposals and streamline execution.
What You Bring:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing or business development, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A strategic mindset with an eye for detail and a collaborative, solutions-oriented attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with CRM and content management tools is a plus.
