Senior Business Analyst - Cyber Security - Contract working with our client, a Major Financial Firm - HYBRID (MOSTLY REMOTE) working
PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A "CYBERSECURITY ANALYST". WE ARE LOOKING FOR A BUSINESS ANALYST WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING ON CYBERSECURITY PROJECTS.
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with experience as a Business Analyst on CyberSecurity projects for a long-term (1+ years) contract, providing services to our direct client, a Major Financial firm in New Jersey.
The role is HYBRID (MOSTLY REMOTE) working.
Responsibilities:
Deliver detailed business requirements / functional requirements / use cases / user stories / wireframes / data mappings / training materials for CyberSecurity projects
Partner with key stakeholders to help shape and prioritize product roadmap of CyberSecurity products / projects
Work with development teams to identify solutions and help build better products
Work closely with QA and development team to ensure implementation meets requirements and usability guidelines.
Develop subject matter expertise in Security Operations, Security Automation, Cloud Security, Data Loss Prevention
Provide SME support, product demonstrations and training to internal & external users.
Experience Required:
Good experience as a BUSINESS ANALYST of CyberSecurity projects
Good experience in the development of business requirements and functional requirements of CyberSecurity projects is essential
Direct experience in PROJECT DELIVERY of one or more of: Security Operations Automation, Security Transformation, Cloud Security, Data Loss Prevention projects
Has supported business requirements definition and product / supplier selection in competitive procurement processes i.e. Response to Proposal (RFP) process (essential)
Must have excellent knowledge and experience of creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS)
Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), familiarity with waterfall and agile methodologies
Advanced knowledge and experience of using business analysis tools and techniques such as requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis is essential
Able to work in complex matrix organization
Major Pluses:
- Financial Services and / or regulated organizationala experience
- Some knowledge of banking, front-to-back trade life cycle, settlement systems and practices would be helpful
