POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and managing new and existing business opportunities across multiple categories for NFL Players Incorporated, the for-profit licensing and marketing subsidiary of the NFL Players Association. This position also provides strategic planning support and relationship management of existing partners to ensure optimal performance against established metrics.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Diligence, Modeling, Reporting and Analysis - In collaboration with the Business and Legal Affairs team, analyzes new business opportunities (which include equity and investment-based partnerships) across a variety of new and existing licensing and business categories, including but not limited to, gaming, experiential/location-based events, international expansion, human performance, and emerging technologies.
- Develops and implements comprehensive financial and business models to drive strategic decision-making, translating insights into clear, compelling presentations across multiple deal types.
- Conducts thorough due diligence of prospective new business deals, including market and company research, financial background, and industry analysis to properly evaluate business opportunities and equity-based partnerships.
- Supports VP and President on evaluating and managing new business and initiatives for key partnerships, including OneTeam Partners.
- Manages CRM tools for business development and relationship management, including use of a master pipeline to track prospects and deal flow.
- Generates regular reports on new and existing business efforts highlighting key metrics for quarterly and annual reports, and other reports as requested.
- Develops business plans both on an annual basis as well as for any newly defined revenue verticals or strategic initiatives.
- Establishes and analyzes ROI metrics that measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts against business development objectives and provide regular reporting on such metrics.
- Supports the day-to-day oversight of the NFLPA strategic investment portfolio, working closely with the Business and Legal Affairs Department to develop, track, and evaluate growth and engagement opportunities for existing partners, manage partner relationships, and ensure partnership deliverables are fulfilled.
- Completes special projects as assigned by Vice President and President.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum three years developing complex financial and business models
- Proven ability to translate data-driven insights into polished, executive-ready presentations.
- MBA preferred
- Experience with venture capital, private equity, or early-stage business, preferred.
- Possesses strong understanding of equity-based transactions, business operations, revenue generation strategies, and financial performance drivers.
- Displays exceptional organizational and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Powerpoint, Excel, and/or the ability to integrate new systems into existing NFLPI systems)
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Exhibits outstanding work capacity and enthusiasm along with high ethical standards and moral integrity
- Ability to work on a team and in a fast-paced environment
