Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Military Capabilities Training & Analysis
Location: DIA Head Quarters - Bolling Airforce Base, Washington DC
Employment Type: Full-time, 100% onsite Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Analyst to support the development of two key training programs focused on military capabilities and intelligence analysis. This role will involve both curriculum development and course evaluation to ensure alignment with training objectives. The successful candidate will work independently within their workstream while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality training content. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of the Military Capabilities Analysis Course (MCAC), providing subject matter expertise on foreign military capabilities.
• Support the Military Intelligence Advanced Analyst Program (MYAPP) by evaluating existing intelligence community courses and determining their alignment with established learning objectives.
• Conduct an inventory and analysis of available training courses to develop structured learning pathways (micro-badge certifications).
• Develop and organize course content using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Work independently with minimal oversight while ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to define training needs and develop learning objectives. Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in military intelligence, defense analysis, or training development.
• Subject matter expertise in military capabilities (e.g., foreign weapons systems, defense strategies, intelligence analysis).
• Strong analytical skills and experience evaluating training programs against learning objectives.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and drive initiatives forward.
• Experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or military organizations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in training development within the military or intelligence sectors.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and course development methodologies.
• Familiarity with training tools or curriculum development platforms.
• Prior experience in a leadership role within a training or intelligence program. Additional Information:
• This position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage their workstream with minimal supervision.
