ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Business Analyst to join our Data Analytics team. This role will primarily support the Lending and Member Solutions departments but will also assist with data and system needs across other departments. The ideal candidate should have expertise in administering lending origination systems and loan servicing platforms, preferably with experience in Temenos/Akcelerant and Fiserv/DNA platforms. Additionally, they should possess advanced skills in developing and building Power BI reports to drive data-driven decision-making. This individual will play a crucial role in shaping our technology and data strategy, as well as optimizing the systems that support our lending and collections operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • System Analysis and Optimization: Analyze, maintain, and enhance the performance of lending origination systems, with a focus on Temenos, to meet organizational goals.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the lending process, from loan origination to servicing.
  • Automate manual tasks and workflows to increase efficiency for both our members and employees.
  • Manage and update various business and pricing rules as needed.
  • Credit Risk Management: Manage and maintain the credit risk management software, including:
  • Validating and uploading monthly data.
  • Creating various credit risk management reports as needed.
  • Analyze data and make recommendations based on portfolio performance and trends.
  • Presenting data to the Risk Review Committee on a quarterly basis.
  • Business Intelligence Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Present findings to stakeholders or executives.
  • Proactive Technology Shaping: Actively contribute to technology decision-making by identifying opportunities for system improvements and recommending innovative solutions for the Lending and Member Solutions department.
  • Support key strategic initiatives, such as developing new lending products and expanding into new markets.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document processes, and ensure alignment between business goals and system capabilities.
  • Project Management: Lead and support projects related to system implementation, enhancements, and upgrades while ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Other Duties: The role may include the assignment of other duties not noted above to meet the organization's business needs.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or another related field.
  • 5 years of experience administering lending origination systems, experience with Temenos Akcelerant preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including designing and developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a proactive role in influencing technology strategies and decision-making processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into system and reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with lending and collections industry practices and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of the financial industry; credit union experience preferred.
  • Fiserv DNA knowledge/experience is a major plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on engaging stakeholders and driving results.
  • Background with system administration or general I.T. practices.
  • Experience with managing projects and coordinating between end users, stakeholders, and vendors through the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to monitor and manage multiple requests/systems at one time: understand how to prioritize based on impact effectively.

Working Conditions:
  • This is a remote work role, but you may occasionally need to visit our office in the Greater Seattle area of Washington State.
  • Team members may attend special off-hour meetings and seminars.
  • The nature of the work may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The pay range for this role is:

82,900 - 124,300 USD per year (US)
