The Senior Business Analyst serves as a key strategic partner to internal functional teams, playing a pivotal role in preparing Tulane University for a seamless Oracle Cloud go-live. This role focuses on comprehensive testing, detailed documentation, data validation and analytics, compliance adherence, training, change management and progress tracking to ensure all stages meet established quality control standards.

Following implementation, this position transitions into a central role within the Oracle Cloud administration team, supporting quarterly Cloud updates and enhancement, as well as long-term organizational growth and sustained impact. The ideal candidate brings extensive expertise in ERP (Finance) /HCM (Human Resources)/ EPM (Budget management) processes, data analytics, and reporting. They excel at navigating complex challenges, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

• Strong understanding of Human Resources, Finance and Budgeting business processes, methodologies and best practices
• Strong data analytic skill sets

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Proven ability to develop and execute project plans that drive successful adoption and utilization of new initiatives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address barriers to change and develop appropriate solutions.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships

• Ability to quickly learn and easily adapt to new technologies.

• Highly proficient organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and adjust to rapidly changing priorities to address/resolve the most critical/sensitive issues in a timely manner.

REQUIRED BACKGROUND CHECK, PHYSICAL AND DRUG SCREENING FOR INCUMBENTS WHO HAVE CONTACT OR EXPOSURE TO ANIMALS OR ANIMAL TISSUES:

Selected candidates must complete and pass a background check and an occupational health screening as a condition of employment. For identified jobs, a drug screening will also be required. The background investigation required occupational health screening, and any required drug screening will be conducted after a conditional employment offer has been extended.

• Bachelor's Degree in related field and 5+ years relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Finance, Grants and Contracts, Procure to Pay, Budgeting, Recruitment, Compensation, Timekeeping/Payroll, Policies and Procedures.

• Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM/ERP/EPM modules.

• Experience with Oracle Guided Learning

• Experience in testing, training, and driving user adoption to ensure successful system implementation and sustained organizational utilization.

• Experience with test script and user training documentation development.
