Robert Half is actively searching for a Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction, driving adoption, and optimizing business processes for our clients.

Role overview

  • As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be the bridge between our clients and internal teams, ensuring our Policy Administration System meets business needs and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the VP of Customer Success, you will work closely with clients, customer success managers, product teams, and delivery teams to drive implementations, improve user experience, and support business growth.
  • In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing best practices and recommendations to maximize the value of the company's solutions.

Key responsibilities

Customer success & business analysis

  • Analyze client business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for product and delivery teams.
  • Identify pain points and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency and automation within the insurance lifecycle.
  • Assist in change management and ensure smooth transitions during system upgrades or process improvements.
  • Monitor customer health and provide input for account reviews and renewals.

Implementation & product enhancement

  • Lead requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and workflow diagrams.
  • Work closely with Product Management & Delivery to align client needs with product enhancements and roadmap planning.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful feature releases.
  • Facilitate continuous feedback loops between clients and internal teams.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to enhance user adoption and maximize ROI for clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team by providing technical insights and business use cases during client demos.
  • Provide training and support materials for internal teams and customers.

Qualifications & skills

Required

  • Strong understanding of policy administration systems & underwriting workflows.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
  • Good communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple terms.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry or insurtech industry is a major plus.
  • Experience working at a Carrier, MGAs, or MGUs is a plus.
