Overview TRC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our growing strategic business and digital advisory team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and client-facing skills, be a self-starter, and a team player. This role is primarily client facing, involves supporting and managing client projects and TRC project teams with business requirements analysis, program advisory services, sharing best practices for deploying digital technology, and developing deep client relationships. The candidate will have a working knowledge of EHS&S processes across a variety of industries and be proficient at engaging with customers recognizing where they are on a maturity scale and helping them define improved business processes while eliciting digital technology functional requirements. Flexibility to travel as needed is essential (
Responsibilities

  1. Client Engagement:
    • Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication to understand their EHS&S needs and goals.
    • Build and nurture strong client relationships, fostering trust and long-term collaboration.
    • Support up selling and cross-selling of TRC broader services with existing customers and supporting marketing and sales events in the identification of new clients
    • Comfortable interacting, facilitating workshops and presenting to senior staff up to executive leadership in customer/prospect organizations.
  2. Business Requirements Analysis:
    • Conduct comprehensive analysis of business requirements related to EHS&S initiatives.
    • Gather, document, and validate client requirements through various methods such as interviews, workshops, and surveys focused on EHS&S practices and digital solutions to identify areas for improvement.
    • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and actionable project plans.
  3. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage concurrent projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Ensure project setup, accounting and invoicing is maintained and forecasted in TRCs project management system.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
    • Skillset to join projects mid-flight, build TRC team and client confidence quickly and ensure positive outcomes for the client and TRC.
    • Be knowledgeable of organizational change management principles with a history of executing them for EHS&S or digital EHS&S programs.
  4. Program Advisory Support:
    • Support EHSS PE Program Directors in providing expert advisory services on EHS&S programs, assisting clients in developing and in implementing effective business transformation and digital strategies.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations and best practices in EHS&S and supporting digital technologies.
    • Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and presentations to share knowledge and best practices with clients and internal teams.
    • Create and maintain documentation, including guidelines, templates, and case studies, to support client knowledge sharing.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on EHS&S and EHS&S specific digital tools.
  • Proficiency in managing scope, schedule, budget of technology enhancement/deployment projects including use of project management software and tools.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant EHS&S regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience implementing 1 or more EMIS commercial software platforms
  • Experience with business analysis tools (e.g. PowerBI, etc.) a plus

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $149,635.00 /Yr.
