Position: Senior Business Analyst
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a Senior / Lead Business Analyst who will be supporting the Member Onboarding and Enrollment Care journey for our client. You will be responsible for communicating across both business and technical teams, uncover requirements and creating user stories that can be delivered on as tangible capabilities or features on a product that can be utilized, tracked and improved on. In this role, you will be ensuring a smooth and cohesive experience across digital channels, from the website and mobile app to various other touchpoints to provide outcome-based results and showing ROI to the organization.
High Level responsibilities and duties will include the following:
- Serve as the primary liaison between business and IT stakeholders, including Sales, Operations, and technical teams. Facilitate communication and translate complex ideas and use cases into tangible product features and capabilities.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, ensuring all business goals, objectives, and outcomes are captured. Facilitate discussions to drive clarity and understanding across teams.
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate high-level business needs into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that can be tracked, developed, and delivered on a digital platform.
- Identify opportunities to optimize the enrollment and onboarding process, streamlining workflows and ensuring a smooth, seamless journey for new members.
- Coordinate closely with business, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution. Provide input to UI/UX teams based on business requirements and user feedback with the ability to influence the design base on requirements.
- Ensure that every feature or capability delivered meets measurable outcomes and provides value to the customer, with a focus on improving the overall member experience.
- Lead requirements and strategy meetings independently, effectively facilitating discussions, driving consensus, and ensuring the team is aligned on priorities and deliverables.
- Visualize information that's captured and facilitate alignment and direction with the team
- Understand nuances, ideas of personas with set of epics and user stories that can be translated into technical components and business requirements.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in or equivalenting related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within a highly regulated industry
- Experience with Microsoft Suite and Jira
- Foundational Business and Technology understanding
- General sense of engineering practices
- Web and mobile experience, exposure to UI Design groups
- Experience working with compliance, security, and governance best practices
- Strong elicitation and facilitation skills
- Excellent documentation, writing, and communication skills
- Experience leading presentations and presentation creation
- Confidence and ability to work on your own initiative
- Pro-active approach to problem-solving
- Experience with agile product delivery
