Responsibilities: - Agile/Scrum Environment: Serve as a Senior Business Analyst in an Agile environment to develop custom software.
- Requirements Management: Capture, analyze, and manage system requirements and user stories.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Meet with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Collaboration: Work with the ScrumMaster to manage backlogs, resolve impediments, and guide the development team.
- Evaluation: Review development work to ensure scope alignment and lead stakeholder demonstrations.
Ideal Candidate Skills: - Business Process Development: Experience in developing business processes, requirements, and models.
- Requirement Decomposition: Ability to translate large business needs into user stories and technical requirements.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Experience interviewing stakeholders and analyzing data relationships across business areas.
- Software Development Knowledge: Familiarity with the software development life cycle (planning, development, QA, etc.).
- ServiceNow Experience: Familiarity with ServiceNow and Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Tools Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office tools and SharePoint.
Requirements: - US Citizenship required, and eligibility for DoD Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree (or 5 years' experience) with 7+ years of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years as a business analyst in iterative software development.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
PREFERRED: - ServiceNow Experience.
- Experience developing process guides and identifying process improvements.
- Certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional, Agile/Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner.
- Knowledge of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK)
