Job Description


Only qualified Business Analyst candidates located in the Richmond, VA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence


Required Skills:



• Perform testing, write test cases and strong knowledge of testing processes (5 Years)



• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of requirements (5 Years)



• Ability to determine that technical changes satisfy the business requirements (5 Years)



• Proficiency in documenting requirements, defects, test cases, and validation results (5 Years)



• Effective verbal and written communication (5 Years)



• Ability to work with others as part of a team (5 Years)



• Strong customer service skills (5 Years)


Desired Skills:



• Possess SQL skills to query databases, perform data validation and troubleshoot data issues



• Knowledge of database concepts, data modeling, and relational databases


This position will perform Business Analysis, Requirements Definition, Documentation, Training Materials and Testing for the Oracle Financials, Cardinal, TPLRS, APEX and Oracle applications. This position also involves working with the Business Teams, IM development team, project managers, other members of the project team, and stakeholders. This position requires analytical skills, problem solving skills, ability to learn and understand a variety of business processes, strong writing skills, ability to communicate and collaborate with technical staff and business users


Job responsibilities:


15% - Meet with business users to understand and document project requirements


15% - Analyze impacts of proposed changes to existing record layouts and processes


50% - Develop test cases Participate in SIT testing


10%- Create documentation


5% - Monitor and track UAT testing


5% - Assist with work request tracking and project status reporting
