Job Description

This role involves financial analysis, budgeting, cost optimization, stakeholder collaboration, reporting, and presenting to senior leadership.

Day to Day

Conduct detailed financial analyses to optimize cloud spending.

Develop and manage budgets for cloud services.

Collaborate with IT, finance, and network engineering departments.

Conduct continuous meetings to validate assumptions and review data.

Monitor cloud costs, generate reports, and ensure compliance.

Develop scenario generators to analyze the impact of variable changes.

Prepare, build, and deliver presentations to senior leadership (SVP).

Skills and Requirements

Business Case Development and Management: Create and manage multiple business cases, ensuring they are comprehensive and up-to-date.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholder teams to gather inputs and assumptions for business cases. Continuously update and refresh these assumptions as circumstances change.

Scenario Analysis: Run scenarios against business cases to determine impacts. For example, analyze the effects of delayed milestones or increased server prices due to tariffs.

Presentation and Reporting: Present and summarize findings to leadership, providing clear and actionable insights.

Experience with FinOps and cloud financial management.

Proven track record in managing large, multimillion-dollar projects.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling. null
