Key Responsibilities: - Requirements Analysis: Analyze business, stakeholder, and technical requirements to create effective solutions.
- Gap Assessment: Identify and recommend improvements between current products and business needs.
- Functional Design: Create modular and extensible functional designs that align with requirements.
- API and Software Services: Develop and maintain high-performance APIs and services for our customer experience.
- Code Development: Write robust, maintainable code ensuring high performance and security across environments.
- Application Enhancement: Implement changes to improve functionality, usability, and resilience.
- Defect Analysis: Examine past project defects to prevent future issues.
- Performance Analysis: Assess system performance against non-functional requirements like reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve performance and availability issues.
- Automation: Create and enhance automated tests and deployment processes.
- Best Practices: Contribute to coding and design best practices to ensure high-quality solutions.
What You'll Bring: - Backend Development: Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and NodeJS.
- Databases: Experience with MySQL and CosmosDB.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with GCP or Azure, microservices architectures, and Docker.
- Web Application Management: Skills in managing and debugging web applications at the code level.
- Programming Skills: Proficient in Python or Java; knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Monitoring and Automation: Experience in implementing monitoring tools and automation for production systems.
- Proof of Concept: Ability to develop proofs of concept and articulate technology strategies to management.
- Source Code Management: Familiarity with Git and CI tools like Jenkins.
- Orchestration and CI/CD: Experience with deployment automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Container Technologies: Knowledge of deploying and managing Kubernetes and Docker.
- Additional Database Exposure: Familiarity with MongoDB or Bigdata is a plus.
- Scalability and Availability: Experience building scalable, highly available systems.
