Your Role: In this position, you will:
- Work alongside Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support robust full-stack technical solutions.
- Stay ahead of tech trends and share your expertise by mentoring fellow engineers and engaging with both internal and external tech communities.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that enhance customer experiences.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node.js, Go, and Scala, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Leverage Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and employ various AWS tools and services.
- Ensure high performance and availability for applications handling traffic exceeding 900 TPS.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not count).
Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in Java 8+, SpringBoot, and REST API development.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or another cloud service.
- 1+ years of experience with serverless programming using AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
- 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code ( IaC) tools such as Terraform or CodeDeploy.
- 2+ years of experience with log aggregation tools like Splunk or ElasticSearch.
- 2+ years of experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic or Datadog.
- 2+ years of experience with open source frameworks like Apache Camel and Kafka.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are: $158,600 - $181,000. This salary information reflects what Capital One is currently willing to pay and will be confirmed in your job offer.
This role is also eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
