What You Will Contribute: - Lead a variety of technology projects and guide a team of skilled developers in building distributed microservices and comprehensive full-stack systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay up-to-date with current tech trends, engage in experimenting with new technologies, participate in tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers while occasionally writing or reviewing code.
- Work closely with product managers to deliver powerful cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve their financial goals.
- Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node.js, Go, Scala, and leverage Open Source database solutions along with Container Orchestration services such as Docker and Kubernetes, utilizing various AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships).
- Minimum of 1 year working in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree.
- 7+ years of experience with at least one of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services.
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
- 1+ years of people management experience.
- 2+ years of experience working in Agile methodologies.

The salary range for this role is between $193,400 - $220,700 annually. This salary range applies to candidates hired for positions in McLean, VA. Candidates in other locations will receive a tailored offer in accordance with local pay structures. Additionally, this role is eligible for performance-based bonuses and long-term incentives.
