What You Will Do: - Lead a variety of technology projects while managing a talented team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems, focused on delivering solutions that comply with regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of the latest tech trends, exploring and learning new technologies, engaging in technical communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally contributing to code development and reviews.
- Collaborate effectively with digital product managers to create powerful cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to make informed financial decisions.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node.js, Go, and Scala, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, along with Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships).
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree.
- 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
- 1+ years of experience in people management.
- 2+ years of experience working in Agile methodologies.

The expected salary range for this role is as follows: McLean, VA: $193,400 - $220,700; New York, NY: $211,000 - $240,800; Richmond, VA: $175,800 - $200,700. Actual annualized salary will be reflected in the candidate's offer letter based on location.
This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include bonuses or long-term incentives.
