As the first Senior Backend Engineer in this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing backend video processing services while optimizing our infrastructure for the perfect balance between performance and reliability.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize cloud-based video processing systems focusing on performance, quality, and reliability.
- Build infrastructure for distributed computing, ensuring high performance while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging to effectively diagnose performance issues on a platform serving over 10M monthly users.
- 3+ years of programming experience in Python.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer or Backend Developer.
- Proficient in SQL, NoSQL, and time-series databases.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (preferred) and/or AWS.
- Familiarity with infrastructure orchestration tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes.
