Job Title: Senior Backend Data Engineer (ETL)

1 IN PERSON INTERVIEW REQUIRED Job/Role Description: - Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
- Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
Required Qualifications: - 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- 7+ years of back-end and ETL experience in consuming, producing and integration with enterprise data providers in batch or on-demand
- 7+ years of experience with -cloud-based data solutions like BigQuery, Snowflake, Talend Cloud, Databricks-ETL tools like Alteryx, Talend, Xceptor-Rest API, Apigee, Kafka, JSON to consume and produce data topics -data modeling, metadata management, data lineage and data dictionary-MS SQL, MongoDB, Teradata, Apache Spark & deployment using tools like Liquibase-Java
- 8+ years Spring Framework, SprintBoot and Microservices-Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift containers-tests frameworks using Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Junit, Jmeter, RestAssured, Postman, LoadRunner to prepare mock data volumes
- 5+ years of experience with -Cloud Poviders like Openshift (OCP), GCP, Azure-CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Harness, UCD, GitHub, Maven, Gradle-DevSecOps tools like SonarQube, GitLab, Checkmarx, Black Duck -Logging, Monitoring tools ELK Stack, Splunk, AppDynamics
- 7+ years Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Shell
- 5+ years of experience working in Agile environment using Scrum/Kanban
- 5+ years of experience working in Jira, Confluence
