As a Senior Back End Software Engineer focusing on Google Cloud, you will take the lead on transformative projects that propel our company forward.
What You'll Do: - Lead a portfolio of diverse tech initiatives and guide a talented team in developing distributed microservices and full-stack systems to address regulatory needs.
- Stay ahead of tech trends, engage with technology communities, mentor fellow engineers, and occasionally jump into coding or code evaluations.
- Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (no internship experience considered)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree
- 7+ years of experience in at least one programming language: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
- 2+ years of experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.
- 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks
- 1+ years of people management experience
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies
