Key Responsibilities: - Oversee a variety of technology projects and guide a team of skilled developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems to deliver solutions addressing regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed on technology trends, experiment with new technologies, engage with both internal and external tech communities, mentor fellow engineers, and occasionally contribute by coding or conducting code evaluations.
- Work in partnership with digital product managers to create robust, cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve financial freedom.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, alongside Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various AWS services.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internships not included).
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree.
- 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar.
- 4+ years of familiarity with open source frameworks.
- At least 1 year of experience in managing people.
- 2+ years of practice in Agile methodologies.

The salary range for this position is as follows: Plano, TX: $175,800 - $200,700 for Lead Software Engineer. For candidates hired in other locations, their respective pay ranges and actual salaries will be outlined in their offer letters.
This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
