Senior AV/VTC Engineer with Security Clearance

Senior Audio Visual (AV) / VTC Engineer
Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite with potential travel to Government sites)
Clearance Required: TS/SCI Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AV/VTC Engineer with over 10 years of experience in AV systems design, installation, and support for commercial, federal, and Department of Defense (DoD) environments. The ideal candidate excels in system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and commissioning while maintaining advanced professional communication and customer relationship management skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical lead and project manager for large-scale AV/VTC installations, ensuring on-time delivery and exceeding client expectations.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate designs and materials lists.

• Lead hands-on installations and oversee team tasks at customer sites.

• Configure and commission video walls, audio systems, video processors, control systems, and other AV solutions.

• Develop technical documentation, test plans, and perform acceptance testing.

• Troubleshoot and debug systems, coordinating programming updates as needed.

• Provide user and administrator training, ensuring seamless handover and client satisfaction. Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of AV system signal flow, including audio, video, and control systems.

• Proficiency in DSP programming (e.g., Biamp Tesira, ClearOne) and control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX).

• Expertise in reading electronic schematics, blueprints, and rack-building.

• Hands-on experience with video wall alignment, projector installations, and AV component integration.

• Strong Microsoft Office Suite and project management tool proficiency. Qualifications and Certifications:

• Certified Technology Specialist (CTS, CTS-I)

• Crestron DM Certified Designer (DMC-D-4K), AMX Programmer, Extron AV Associate

• Biamp Tesira Certified, Imaging Science Foundation Commercial Certification (ISF-C)

• OSHA 10/30 Certifications, CompTIA Security+

• TS/SCI Clearance Preferred Attributes:
