Senior Automation Engineer, MAN2 Reliability Maintenance Engineering

Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at the Fulfillment Center (FC) in MAN2, Warrington.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, troubleshoot, and document control solutions for material handling systems.
- Act as a liaison for internal and external resources.
- Provide training to RME Technicians on device troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance.
- Manage projects, communicate effectively, and multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Develop specifications, perform PLC diagnostics, and modify PLC ladder code.
- Work with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLCs and AutoCAD for electrical schematics.
- Ensure adherence to safety and industry standards such as QS 9000, ISO 9001.
- Document system changes and maintain control system documentation on SharePoint.
Basic qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in control systems, including PLC design, development, and support.
- Experience with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for control layout and schematics.
- Strong analytical skills and teamwork orientation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Advanced experience in industrial engineering, project management, and implementation.
