Our client, a leader in the high-voltage technology and power (HTP) sector, is currently seeking a Senior Authorised Person to join their team on a contract basis. This role is critical for ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical systems, particularly those involving high-voltage equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing the safe operation of electrical systems
- Conducting energization, switching, isolation, and earthing operations
- Developing and implementing safety procedures and policies
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Providing expert guidance and leadership to electrical teams
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
- Maintaining detailed records of electrical operations and maintenance activities
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the electrical field, particularly with high-voltage equipment
- Proven expertise in energization, switching, isolation, and earthing procedures
- Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement safety procedures and policies
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant electrical engineering qualifications or equivalent experience
