Once cleared, the eligible candidate will have an opportunity to conduct complex audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with federal regulations. Responsibilities: General duties for future opportunity include, but are not limited to: Conduct routine to highly complex audits in accordance with GAGAS
Prepare risk assessments and transaction testing plans for approval
Gather and analyze accounting records and supporting documents for post-award audits
Prepare exhibits and schedules for post-award audits
Review permanent files and prior reviews to obtain and update information
Create audit folders, brief contracts, and document
Summarize audit results, ensuring all work papers are properly documented
Draft comprehensive audit reports for approval
Prepare final audits to expedite contract settlement
Employ advanced auditing techniques, including statistical sampling and regression analysis
Review and analyze various statements and audits
Functions may be modified based on the designated office requirements Qualifications: Required: Must successfully obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 4 years of professional contract auditing experience with governmental agencies
Extensive knowledge of GAGAS, GAAP, FAR, Cost Accounting Standards, and Federal Tax Regulations
In-depth understanding of Defense Contract Audit Manual and Contracting Manual
Familiarity with Financial Accounting Standard Board Statements
Experience completing government contract audits Desired: A Bachelor's or Master's degree
Experience with federal budgeting processes
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
Ability to communicate complex information clearly to various audiences
Basic knowledge of Project Management concepts and principles
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Advanced problem-solving, analytical and research skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
