Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join our growing team at a mid-size CPA firm in Michigan. The ideal candidate will lead complex audit engagements, manage client relationships, and play a key role in developing our audit practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee multiple audit engagements across various industries
- Ensure high-quality audit services and compliance with professional standards
- Develop and implement audit strategies and methodologies
- Manage and mentor audit teams, including managers and senior staff
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to business development and proposal efforts
- Assist in resolving complex accounting and auditing issues
- Participate in firm-wide initiatives and quality control procedures
Requirements:
- CPA license
- 8+ years of public accounting experience, with at least 3 years at the manager level
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and SEC reporting requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Proficiency in audit software and data analytics tools
