Key Responsibilities - Senior Audit Manager:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and firm policies.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and senior associates, providing technical guidance and career development support.
  • Review workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to professional standards.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships by providing exceptional service, addressing issues, and identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Collaborate with partners on business development efforts, including networking, client proposals, and firm growth initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices to provide thought leadership and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in firm-wide quality control initiatives and continuous improvement of audit processes.

Qualifications - Senior Audit Manager:

  • CPA certification required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of audit experience in public accounting, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB auditing standards.
  • Experience managing multiple engagements and leading audit teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-service mindset.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in audit and accounting software (e.g., CCH, CaseWare, ProSystem fx, or similar).
