JOB TITLE: Senior Audit Manager - Platform & Engineering
SALARY: £90,440 - £117,040
LOCATIONS: Edinburgh, Bristol
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, involving spending at least two days per week at one of our office sites
Role Overview: Lead and shape the audit plan, using deep knowledge of technology and change risks to deliver high-quality assurance on risk management and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end audit execution and follow-ups, ensuring timely and impactful assurance activities.
- Prioritize work effectively, remove obstacles, and ensure efficient resource use.
- Provide feedback, coaching, and mentorship to colleagues, fostering a positive team environment.
- Lead delivery and promote colleagues' growth, exemplifying Group values and behaviors.
- Align audit activities with Group and Business Unit strategies, influencing decision-making.
- Engage with senior leaders and represent Group Audit at Committees.
- Maintain collaborative relationships across functions and lines of defense.
What we're looking for:
- Experience auditing cloud platforms, software development lifecycle, and modern engineering practices.
- Experience with major technology change initiatives and IT controls.
- Ability to identify technology risks and influence control implementation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience in Financial Services, Internal/External Audit, or Risk functions.
