The Senior Associate, Global Health & Benefits will play a pivotal role in supporting client teams in evaluating client requirements and implementing effective benefit program strategies. Primary responsibilities will revolve around analyzing retirement, healthcare, and welfare, coordinating proposal processes, delivering on technical requirements, and ensuring smooth communication with clients. By collaborating closely with the consulting team, the Senior Associate, Global Health & Benefits will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional consulting services to our clients and ensuring the success of their health and group benefit programs. Dedication and a proactive approach will maintain effective client relationships and drive positive outcomes.
How You Will Contribute
- Collaborate with client teams to evaluate client requirements and facilitate the implementation of global benefit program strategies for local national employees, expatriates and TCNs
- Gather and input healthcare and employee benefits data to generate comprehensive client reports and client-facing presentations
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the global insurance vendor landscape, plan designs, healthcare cost influencers, and the health/group benefits program renewal cycle
- Draft client-centric communications, encompassing proposals, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly dashboard reports tailored to specific clients; attend and provide support during review meetings to discuss outcomes and relevant topics
- Collaborate with client teams to smoothly execute daily responsibilities and tasks effectively
- Offer assistance for client enrollment activities, overseeing accuracy and timely distribution of materials
- Maintain and update Central Desktop, capturing information and key contacts
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- 10+ years experience in a similar role, required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate employee benefits and healthcare data, including supplemental, mandated, and statutory programs (including benchmarking, global benefits management, quotations, implementation, renewals, multinational pooling, M&A)
- Support the Global Benefits team in creating and maintaining a hybrid broker network and applicable agreements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and internal teams
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to organize and manage complex projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when needed
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive and strong client service focus
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (healthcare, business, finance, etc.)
- Understanding of the healthcare and employee benefits industry trends, insurance plans, and benefit programs (including retirement)
- Self-funded underwriting experience preferred
Pay Range
$120.,000.00 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
