Senior Associate - Institutional Capital Raising (Real Estate)

A fast-growing real estate investment platform is seeking a driven, strategic-minded Senior Associate to join its investor relations and fundraising team. This role offers a front-row seat to institutional fundraising efforts and an opportunity to develop relationships with some of the most sophisticated investors in the market.
The Role
You'll work alongside senior leadership to support and execute business development efforts targeting institutional allocators, including endowments, pensions, foundations, family offices, and consultants. Ideal for someone who combines analytical thinking with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in relationship management, this role provides exposure to the full fundraising lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support outreach and engagement across a range of institutional investor channels
- Coordinate investor meetings, presentations, due diligence processes, and events
- Contribute to marketing efforts and help develop collateral that speaks to investor needs
- Build pipeline tracking systems and contribute to ongoing reporting and forecasting
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring consistent messaging and follow-up
- Gather and relay market intelligence to help shape strategy and uncover new opportunities
Who You Are
- Some experience in institutional fundraising, investor relations, or investment sales advantageous
- Understanding of alternative investments or private markets; real estate exposure is a plus
- Skilled communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders
- Proactive, highly organized, and comfortable juggling competing priorities
- Collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced credentials (MBA, CFA, CAIA) viewed favorably
