Senior ASIC Engineer

Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Senior ASIC Engineer to join their team. As a Senior ASIC Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative design projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior ASIC Engineer Location: San Jose, CA - Onsite What's the Job?
•  Develop complex multi-mode/multi-corner timing constraints that are compatible for RTL and signoff.
•  Drive pre-route timing checks and quality of results (QoR) clean-up to eliminate SDC issues and ensure a quality handoff for STA checks.
•  Review and identify areas for process improvement and early issue identification in the design phase.
•  Maintain RTL quality metrics in complex, hierarchical designs and automate processes for improved efficiency.
•  Execute custom regression scripts and quality checks for complex designs involving multimode and multiple partitions. What's Needed?
•  Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in ASIC design and verification.
•  Proficiency with EDA tools that enable RTL quality checks.
•  Experience analyzing timing reports and identifying design and constraints-related issues.
•  Ability to multitask and quickly ramp up on new flows, tools, and ideas.
•  Preferred experience with EDA tools such as Synopsys Design Compiler/Primetime, Spyglass, and Fishtail. What's in it for me?
